There is no better introduction to Santa Cruz surfing then to learn to surf at Capitola Beach. Our surf lessons emphasize fun and safety to ensure a pleasurable and safe ocean experience. Classes are designed to be both mentally and physically interactive.

PRIVATE SURF LESSONS

In a private lesson you will receive one on one instruction on the beach and in the water. Lessons consist of approximately 30 minutes of beach training and at least 1 ½ hours of water time. Private lessons are 1 ½ hours or 2 hours. All equipment is included. Ages 5 & up.

  • Private Surf Lesson – $260/person (2 hours)
  • Private Surf Lesson – $195/person (1 ½ hours)

SEMI-PRIVATE SURF LESSONSsanta cruz things to do

A semi-private lesson is designed for your family members and friends. These classes offer a greater level of instructor attention than our standard group lessons. Semi-Private lessons are 2 hours. All equipment is included. Ages 10 & up.

  • Semi-Private Surf Lesson – $130/person

GROUP SURF LESSONS

These classes are designed for the beginner and first time surfer and will focus on surfing safety, surf etiquette, and wave riding fundamentals. Class size is kept small to ensure students receive the personal attention they need to develop their surfing skills. Group lessons are 2 hours. All equipment is included. Ages 12 & up.

  • Group Surf Lesson – $100/person
