It’s time for some SUN & FUN! There are lot’s of fun things to do this summer in Santa Cruz. Here are some of our favorite upcoming events you won’t want to miss!
- March 11-October 28: Sailboat Races. Enjoy watching the colorful sailboats races on Wednesday nights from 5:30-8pm at the Santa Cruz Harbor. Get to the Crows Nest restaurant early to grab a spot on their fabulous deck to watch them sail in and out of the harbor!
- June 11- August 27: Twilight Concerts in Capitola Village. Enjoy FREE live music and the sunset every Wednesday night at the Bandstand Stage in Esplanade Park. Check the link for the schedule.
June 19-September 24: Concerts at the Boardwalk: Two FREE shows every Friday night starting at 6:30pm & 8:30pm. There are some big acts that come and play. Check the link for schedule.
- June 24-August 12: Movies On The Beach Boardwalk: Every Wednesday night at 9pm you can watch a classic movie for FREE! Bring the family, dinner and your blanket or beach chair to relax and enjoy the movie. Check the link for schedule.
- June 26th-28th: 21st Annual Woodies On The Wharf. Woodies on the Wharf is a annual event that takes place on the Santa Cruz Wharf. Over 200 wood-boodied cars are on display along with music and raffle prize drawings. Free admission.
- July 26th: Wharf to Wharf Race. The Wharf to Wharf race is one of the biggest events in Santa Cruz County. Runners from all of the world come to participate in the six-mile race
starting from the Santa Cruz Wharf and ending at the gorgeous Capitola Village.
- September 4th-7th: 63rd Annual Capitola Begonia Festival. Come to the 63rd Annual Capitola Begonia Festival. This great event is something to make a fun weekend out of. It is full of fun family activities from sand sculpture contests, a fishing derby, a horseshoes tournament and a Nautical Parade. This is a not to miss event. All festivities are FREE.
September 12th-13th: 33rd Annual Capitola Art & Wine Festival. A fun weekend with art, wine, music & food at Capitola Village. The show is open from 10am-6pm daily.
